Job Role & Team:

This position is on the Salesforce Web Platforms team, responsible for innovating Salesforce's global digital experience. The team builds and maintains large-scale enterprise functionalities for multi-region, multi-brand websites, integrating with AgentForce to deliver advanced capabilities for business and customers.

Key Technical Skills:

PHP, JavaScript, ReactJS or AngularJS, WordPress application and custom plug-in development, GitHub (or similar VCS), unit testing frameworks (JEST, PHPUnit), continuous integration/deployment, data structures and algorithms, Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in web application development and WordPress.
• Experience with large-scale web apps meeting standards for performance, security, and accessibility.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science including algorithms and problem-solving.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub.
• Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with testing frameworks and Agile development.
• Good team communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience developing multi-site/multi-region WordPress sites.
• Knowledge of NodeJS, Express, TypeScript, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Experience in headless architecture and CDN setup (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare).
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Splunk, New Relic.
• Experience building scalable cloud applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Prior experience with on-call support or PagerDuty.
